Avoiding The Brazilian
Category: Blog
I read stories in newspaper articles like most people. But sometimes I just have to write poems about them. Any man reading this should be put off bananas for life.
Avoiding the Brazilian
I ventured out to buy bananas
I picked a modest bunch
I tore one off when I got home
To have it after lunch
But when I came to peel the skin
I saw to my surprise
I was being ogled
By a hundred tiny eyes
My length of fruit was poorly
Creepy crawlies deep within it
Brazilian Wandering Spiders
Were hatching by the minute
They wander in from Costa Rica, Paraguay, Peru
I’ve read about these creatures
I knew what they could do
Unlike other spiders
Where these blighters differ
Is when they bite, one body site
Tends to get much stiffer
Four hours of gain, but awful pain
And danger to my life
Possibly the end for me
But a bonus for the wife
